VERY great food. Great menu.
(only 1 tiny criticism: the gap between the mattress)

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent stay at Hotel Römerhof. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced and appreciate your detailed comments, which help us identify areas for improvement.
We regret that our check-in process was not as smooth as it should have been, especially after a long day of biking. As our restaurant was on its annual break during your stay, we operated a self-check-in system, which may have contributed to the confusion and inconvenience. We understand the frustration of communication barriers and will work on ensuring that our staff can assist guests in multiple languages more effectively in the future.
As a historical, heritage-protected building, we are unable to install an elevator. We strive to communicate this information clearly across all our booking channels and our website. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and for any discomfort from the lack of air conditioning.
We are sorry to hear about the unpleasant smell in the hallways. We use an air refresher from the exclusive brand Kukui, but we will investigate this issue to ensure a more pleasant atmosphere for our guests.
While we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast on our terrace, we are very sorry for the server's inappropriate behavior. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide, and we will be addressing this matter with our staff to ensure it does not happen again.
