Honest review
One thing I did not like is that they hold their reservations at restaurants for people who pay the up charge for butler service and they only have one buffet at dinner for THREE hotels. You have to stand in lineups and wait hours for food. No fun. They should be more accommodating when it comes to eating at this hotel.

Solitude
We did not want to be pestered with a sales pitch for a time share, so we told them at check-in that
we were not interested in any of that or upgrading, etc. Did not sign up for platinum level, but do not like the whole nickel and diming game. We stayed in building 29, and
had a lovely pool view.
We didn't think about the diez y seis holiday when we booked, but we did not think the resort was too crowded. I noticed that some reviewers state they couldn't get a reservation at a restaurant. Considering that we went during diez y seis, did not book platinum level, and that we were able to book our dinners while at resort (and had no trouble getting the restaurant and decent times), think that that is a misstatement, or perhaps someone just upset and wanting to gripe.
We did not mind walking from the Ha' resort over to the Ventus & the Marina, and/beach area. The over 18 infinity pool was a favorite spot, and the adjacent expansive shaded open-air seating was wonderful.
We enjoyed the Hibachi restaurant, Aakat, French & Italian restaurants, as well as the buffet for breakfast & lunch. They have a little coffee shop with pastries inside the buffet/food court. They had many pastries that you could help yourself to.
Most of the restaurants were closed on the night they had the diez y seis celebration, but we attended the celebration, so we could take in the cultural experience. The food lines were a little long, but such a unique experience!
We left the resort 2 times. One day, we booked the resort's bicycle tour, which we pedaled into Puerto Morelos. We stopped at a couple of businesses and browsed and may have purchased a couple of trinkets. We also found a business in PM that we ended up booking a catamaran & snorkel to Isla Mujeres. The catamaran trip was outstanding! It was great to be out on the water with a great crew & group of people!
We walked from Ha' to the other activities, but you can also take a shuttle. Not too far, but it is a bit hilly in places.
Also, the adult Ruf (rooftop pool) was a neat place, too!
We went in September 2023, so the year is not accurate, but the menu would not extend past April 2024.

Great value for family vacation
We booked through Costco which was easy and included airport transfers. We had to upgrade one room at check in to get adjoining rooms which was annoying but understandable since we knew it wasn’t guaranteed when we booked through Costco.

Overall it was a nice stay. And as I mentioned at the beginning this is a good value. If the food and beach were better it would be a 5 star review. We will probably try another resort next time.

Ventus Ha was Amazing!!
I celebrated my 30th birthday here and everything was amazing! The staff made sure that I was celebrated during my entire stay! ¡Feliz Cumpleaños!
The rooms are beautiful and clean. We were platinum members so we’re given some additional options for our rooms. Pillow menu, aroma therapy, room service. They even decorated for my birthday. The view of the pool & jungle is breath taking
The buffets have plenty of different options to choose from. The reservation only dinner restaurants are so good. Aakat was my favorite. All bars were stocked and kept the drinks flowing!
Out butlers Indi (Indria) & Saul made our stay amazing! They made sure we were good all day & night.
Majority of the restaurants are a short walk across the street at the Maria & Ventus but that didn’t ruin our experience. This resort is very quiet and relaxing. This isn’t a resort to go if you’re looking to party. Our overall experience was amazing
