Great experience and quiet location with a view

I recently spent two weeks in one of the casitas and had a fabulous stay. Even though the resort is about 3 miles south of main San Pedro town I walked the beach to town multiple times during my stay (daytime) and always felt safe and saw a lot more than just driving the roads in a golf cart. The place is clean, large and has a lot to offer to include fun activities like Tuesday Bingo at Toast the on site Bar and Restaurant. Staff was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

Don't Waste your Money Staying Here

Do Not Stay Here! The hotel is definitely not as advertised! Even the good reviews are false or made by people who don't care what the place is really like. The rooms are old, run down, rustic cabins that haven't had renovations done to them since the 1960s! There is no hot or cold water, just luke warm. There is no water pressure at all, the taps in the bathroom literally drip out.
There is no beach!! Just piles of rock and concrete. You are about a 20 minute walk to town and there are only two bars nearby to get food. Very disappointed in the false advertising and reviews. This place is like a very low budget, cheap motel. We are trying to find another hotel to move to. Don't waste your money staying here.
Staff are very friendly and nice but not very professional! When we checked in we had to wait 15 mins as the clerk was in her cabin having a bath. That should have been our first clue!

AVOID! TERRIBLE! Cheap for a reason. Location sucks. No security on the property. Literally anybody can just walk up to your room door. Someone walk me up at 4AM by knocking on my room door. BOTH receptionists were gone when I arrived to check in after 2pm and had the nerve to give me attitude when they finally arrived. Waited outside in sweltering heat for half an hour for them. A/C is not included in the rooms so I had to pay extra for AC!! Water went out for hours AND I ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT!!! Wifi goes in and out.

This is our second time staying here. It’s very clean and the staff is very friendly. I love that it’s just a short walk to the bar/restaurant. The dock is one of my favorites in San Pedro because it’s dark and you can enjoy the night sky. Staff helped us rent a golf cart upon arrival, which was delivered to the resort. Danna was at the front desk and she made us feel welcome. Will stay here again.

February 2025: Escaped the cold of North America and LOVED it.

Located in southern San Pedro, conveniently within walking distance of a general store, two restaurants, and a 1-mile or a 7-minute golf cart ride from the heart of San Pedro, Royal Caribbean Resort offers onsite amenities such as a pool, spa services such as massage, manicures & pedicures provided by Laura and her team. Royal Caribbean Resort staff are professional, and attentive. Each cabin is unique and provides the comforts of home with a kitchenette. The grounds are well kept, and lovely. If you are looking to relax in a calm and quite environment this is the place! Would definitely stay here again.
