Definately adding this location to our favs

Nambucca heads is a hidden gem! Beautiful, clean & quite park right on the beach. Clean amenities, fish, swim, play golf or relax on the beach. Lots of tourist spots to visit in the area Reception staff could do with a refresher in customer service

POOR COMPLAINT HANDLING

I have been coming to the White Albatross for many years and have enjoyed our stay, UP UNTIL OR LAST VISIT. We stayed in a family cabin and to be perfectly honest, it was a flea pit. Considering the now exhorbitant prices taht are being charged. My wife and I went to the office to address the state of the cab in and spoke to a female called Linda who identified herself as the park manager. I have never encountered anyone as rude and disinterested in trying to find us a solution (maybe a change of cabin). She basially told us to put up with it or leave with no refund. We will not be coming back.

The review is a little concerning as we have a high customer service standard, and the manager has no recollection of this encounter.
We here at the White Albatross would never tell guests to just leave and offer no refund. This simply is not in our dialogue.
We are having trouble finding any booking that corresponds with your stay dates, and the manager would love the opportunity to talk with you personally about this issue and discuss the issues you have noted and the site to which you actually stayed in.

Be Aware - Van site sizes and value

Great Location however had crazy muck around with receiving appropriate van site. Booked in advance by 6 months for 3 sites close together and was assured 2 were side by side and the other not far away. Was happy with that. When we arrived, we were allocated a 'tent' site in the lowest part of the park that flooded. No where near enough room to park our van. We then find out the bookings were all stuffed up, so someone had to get the small tent site. I guess it just kept getting handed down to the next person.
Spoke with management and had an option to take another undulated small site far away from the others and we would be compensated for the muck around.
On the same day our friends also got allocated this site after us!!! Still trying to get away with it. We agreed to take the 2nd of the sites and settle with compensation. (either some money back or credit with Ingenia)
The next day management refused to compensate because we 'Had' a site.
For over $200 a night this was very poor......... Will never stay here again. So much for keeping your word. BE AWARE of sites before booking. Then not sticking to their word.
This was my first holiday away in 18 months as I am suffering non curable Cancer and what a great start - walk a long way to see the family.
Disgraceful.

We sporadically got this accommodation while eating lunch at the VWall Pavilion as we didnt want to leave Nambucca Heads. Literally 10 seconds out the door of the pub and you're on the property, 30 seconds walk to the beaches or the pool. The pool was wonderful, very clean and lots of outdoor furniture. The cabin was small and basic but well maintained and had everything we needed for a single night. AC unit worked very well however no ceiling fan in the bedroom and some rather 'loud' bedding made for a bit of an uncomfortable sleep. The bed itself was comfy but the room could use a ceiling fan as the room is quite too small to bring in your own pedistal fan if you had one. Staff were friendly and the area just has everything going for it! Will visit again!
