Book Direct for 100% + attention - and be careful of OTAs
It was my silly fault to fall for the trap of clicking on the top "sponsored" link thinking that this was a direct link to the hotel. It wasn't, and before I knew it I booked via an OTA.
Fortunately I could cancel the OTA booking - but only after much angst.
Finally, I was able to book directly with Dorsett via Jane at Reservations. She was fantastic, professional and understanding. The price was reasonable too, and the Direct Booking was not lost when we checked it. There were two surprises in addition to the early check-in in late check-out. I won't spoil the surprise that may be of offer for you too if you book direct (ie become a loyal member of Dorsett). Suffice to say that Jeffery the manager went out of his way to make our stay extra special. Well done Dorsett its easy to see who you want a VTIC award 2024.

It is set up for the young people and really doesn’t have any class considering it’s a 5 star hotel
